More
and More Grace and Glory
Through Adam, because of sin we suffer, bounded by the law of sin and
death. Because God is merciful, we are able to reclaim our blessing of being
His children through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance to God. In His son,
(the antitype of Adam) we have all received the fullness of grace, and grace
for grace. Let us count the Grace that we have in Christ Jesus:
1.
Forgiveness of sins |
In whom we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians
1:14 |
2.
Free from sins |
For the law of
the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and
death. Romans 8:2 |
3.
Deliverance from the death |
Who delivered
us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will
still deliver us, 2 Corinthians 1:10 |
4.
Free from God’s Wrath |
Much more
then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through Him. Romans 5:9 |
5.
Reconciled with God |
That is, that
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their
trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2
Corinthians 5:19 |
6.
Being Redeemed |
In Him we have
redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7 |
7.
Being Saved |
For God did
not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved. John 3:17 |
8.
Received Eternal Life |
For the wages
of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord. Romans 6:23 |
9.
Received the Holy Spirit |
In Him you
also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy
Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13 |
10.
Being Justified |
Being
justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:24 |
11.
Being Sanctified |
For by one
offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Hebrews
10:14 |
12.
Peace endowed |
Peace I leave
with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 |
13.
Set Free |
Stand fast
therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be
entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1 |
14.
As the son of God |
For you are
all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26 |
Not only
that, God through his son, also prepared for us the eternal blessing and the
incorruptible glory. As long as we endure till the end, fulfill God’s will, we
will then receive His abundant glory, and from glory to glory. Let us count the
Glory that we will be received in Christ Jesus:
1.
The Kingdom of God |
Which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you
may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 2
Thessalonians 1:5 |
2.
Being Heirs of God |
And if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ,
if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:17 |
3.
Glorious Body |
Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His
glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue
all things to Himself. Philippians 3:21 |
4.
Inheritance |
Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the
inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:24 |
5.
The Right to the Tree of Life |
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right
to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14 |
6.
Reward |
Knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from
the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. Ephesians 6:8 |
7.
Reign with God |
Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also
may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. If we
endure, we shall also reign with Him. 2 Timothy 2:10, 12 |
