Sharing Life Lessons with Others
Age should speak;
advanced years should teach wisdom. - Job 32:7
In the book Live and
Learn and Pass It On, H. Jackson Brown, Jr., recounted some of the life lessons
people of different ages said they’d learned. Here are a few he collected and
the ages of the people who shared them:
One of the
remarkable benefits of getting older is that you have many life lessons like
these that you can share with others. That’s exactly why in cultures around the
world, gray hair is indicative of wisdom!
As you reflect upon
your life, think of the life lessons that come to mind. Make a list of them so
you can share them with others. When you allow your experiences to be teachable
lessons for others, you’ll breathe life into their relationship with God!
Prayer Challenge:
Pray and ask God to
bring to mind your life lessons. Make a list and share them with others who can
learn from your experiences.
